It's really unnerving, i've had to change the bulbs and what not on my C that i've now got it down to an art. Can drop the bumper and change the bulbs in about 40minutes, 30 on a good day.
Really is a horrendous engine bay.

to change the headlights its a bumper off job but to change the bulbs its easy to get to without even touching the front bumper

Mr Haynes is also wrong with post-1999 heater console bulbs on a B.
Considering most people will change their bulbs when parked in a service station or something, it does seem very odd.

Took 2 hours to change my heater bulbs. About 5 mins to get it all off, 1 min to replace bulbs and the rest of the time trying to get the fucking lot back on

Axle stands to change headlight bulbs
to make it easyer as there are fixings under neath the bumper it would be harder to do while the wheels are on the floor
Doesnt need it, mines down 60mm with an Irmy front splitter, still can get to all the bolts.
