ok, my girlfriends b has a bit of a habit of not starting when the fuel gets low. As it has just decided not to start at a petrol station i think its about time i got thinking on it. Is there any common problems similar to this? fuel filter, pump etc.
im thinking she has some rubbish in the bottom of her fuel tank, is this common on b's?? hers is v plate and got 70k on it.
so any suggestions welcome hers is a 1ltr if that matters

try changing the fuel filter and give it a good service.
check the tank breather.

The fuel filter is there to stop gunk getting through.

Fuel is taken from the bottom of the tank so running low shouldnt make a difference.

were talking just onto the light
thing is, if it was the fuel filter it wouldnt just be when she fueled up after running low would it? it would be the whole time surely??
