Wembley! Woop!

For the Johnstone Paint Trophey (oh well, a cups a cup, and a trip to Wembley cant be bad)!

Any other Saints fans on here, or am i the only one?

Also, any predictions for the Wembley match between Southampton and Carlisle?

And its my first time there!

That rumour was quashed mate. The press got hold of the fact we owed the HMRC £500k and then suspected we were transfer listing players to raise the money. And as nobody was sold they guessed we were screwed. But all along the £500k had already been paid before the players were listed. Granted the owners admitted that cancelled games over winter didnt help, but we wont be going into admin.

Oh, maybe out of date information then.
The guy I was talking to was saying about the current wage bill is entirely unsustainable, and that apparently the club has started charging players for the food they get on site

Na the wage bill is still high, too high. But thats constantly being adressed and isnt a crippling factor just yet. After all we spent £75k on Barnes-Homer
