E74 error message and red light tonight 
And to top it off my nephew had destroyed my MW2 disc 
Not played it in a while and i get the buzz for a game then this happens lol typical.
Going to send it away for the free repair.
want a PS3 now though lol

I bought mine the day they came out. Went back once for RROD and had no other problems at all.

since getting mine back from RROD, it's noisier and makes a funny noise on shut down.
i unplug mine from the wall after i shut mine down now.
i think my first RROD was from my cat turning it on and it over heating.
4 of my friends have also had RROD.
i fully expect mine to break again too.

First one had a Hard Drive failure. So Argos swapped it for me.
Second one had RROD.
Third one was fine. Sold it to a mate. And last week it got RROD.
Still waiting for Microsoft to let me know if it's under Warranty.

here's my xbox with RROD:
when i play on it i always take it out so it doesn't over heat.
one weekend i came home and it was on the shelf and switched on. it had RROD
the only thing i can think of is that one of my cats must have either pressed the button on the front or stepped on a controller.
now i make sure i take the plug out of the back so the cats can't play MW2 when i'm away.

Microsoft extend the warranty a further 2 years for E74 and red lights. So you should be covered.
