Am i right in thinking underground stations close around midnight? Or are they 24hrs?
Have had a look on the transport for London website, can't find anything about this...

Depends where abouts you are. Last trains usually leave london around 12.30 ish.
You know what line you'll be on? think i have something somewhere on this comp.

think (cant remember for sure) that the underground runs until 1am maybe 2am

i find they close around 00:30
you could always get a night bus if it's closed

Cheers all! But yeah, need to get back from Shepherds Bush (Central Line) to St Pancras around midnight - looking at the link fro posted, last train from 'Bush is 00:44 which isn't too bad....
Edit - would the night bus be a bit of an arseache to get to Pancras from Shepherds Bush?

I hate the underground, have to go and see my sister soon too and she lives somewhere in nodnol, smells musky and its too cramped and, hate it. I'm a north east village boy lol.

Looking at the journey planner you have at least two buses and about 6 mins of walking.
Quickest is approx41 mins longest is approx 54 (3 busses )

Ed - I have done this and nearly ended up going back into london
Lostboy - I have to go on it around 600 times a year and have to pay around 2K for the honour

Dodgy ones are cheapish, I can get from central london back home for about £40 (instead of about 60) if I haggle enough. they're clamping down on them though.
dont think they're too bad if you're only going a short distance
|
