where do i make the holes above the taps connector or below and the same as the waste pipe theres no holes in the cupboard for the pipes to go through

I'm no plumber and have never done it before but surely you just use the braided pipes screwed in the water feeds (Green Circles) and wastes go to the Pink circles?. You will need to cut holes in the cuboard for the hoses though obviously.
I'm sure Matt or someone will confirm

Sorry I thought ou were gonna start cutting into pipes. I'd cut higher up into the corner maybe if you have long enough connectors.

Shouldnt matter, just whatevers easiest tbh. Mine go right up & through the gap where the drainer is & back down.

makr sure you have remoived all bungs from the pipes or cut off any nibs on the waste conectors that need cut off

You would drill them above the fittings. Means the waste pipe bends to a u-shape before the waste

Make sure you take the scews/bolts out the back that support the barrel otherwise it will be fubard after the first go

Its meant to push onto the tappered part - bit you've drawn the pink circle round!! Just trim the end off it with a hacksaw, or stanley if your carefull. Oh dear!!!
