Not to hijack the thread but on the subject of small engines with turbos ive been told the new focus will have a 1.2 turbo version. Anyone else heard this or no if its true? seems silly.

All about emissions, so probably. Although to cruise at decent revs it will probably need 8 gears to be off boost

Do something like that 1.4 turbo hill climb nova, that did 160hp on an 8v lol, the thing is that its so easy and cheap just to put a bigger engine into a corsa that turboing a 1ltr just isnt worth it

On a serious note if you were trying to achieve 100 BHP it would be far cheaper and reliable to stick a 1.6 8v or 1.6 16v into a corsa. or sell the 12volt and buy a GSI/Sport.
