I went to Maplin to get some parts to build a loom so I could connect my charger to my bike without having to strip it to get to the battery, while I was there I noticed they have alot of solar stuff on offer, they have a 100 x 50 12w solar panel on offer for £49.99.. Its perfect for keeping your car/motorbike charged up when you are not using it.. Comes complete with various connectors including battery clamps and a cigarette lighter.
Thought some of you guys who rarely use your motor would find it useful

My dad tried something like this and seemed to think it was rubbish.

I had one of these. Waste of money, your battery will be flat within a month!
