As a girls car I think the 1.3s pretty good. Not bad around town, simple engines and handle well.
The 1.6 is pretty poor though. Compare the 1.6 in the Ka to a Vaux 1.6 and the Ford is woefully underpowered.
Not for guys though at all. I don't think I've ever see a bloke driving one who didn't look dodgy tbh.

I once drove the convertible KA with the roof down
It was the best bit homo fun i have ever had !!!!!
But out of all hot hatches, a KA isn't one i would go for !

very good handling cars those sport ka's.
i don't mind them, they have the ''rallye'' arches so beef the looks up a bit.
still a bit girly but if you like it then who cares?
interiors aren't that nice, mainly dashboard/steering wheel and a bit small inside for 6ft+ people.
but it's a good fun chuckable car, not quick by any means, but it's no slouch either.

sport Ka..
handle very well
reliable
easy to work on
cheap to tune
parts are cheep.
can fit a RS engine into them.
bad bits
Rust a bit (they are sposed to have a 10 year anti rust garantee)
If you damage a head lamp then you have to remove the front bumper to change it and you normaly bend the lip of the wing under the bumper removing the naff plastic clips.
Thermostats leak.
Wheels will be buckled if you go over a speed bump at 30mph
