can you give a rough timescale it would take you to fit 3x sockets and a light and switch in a loft and using an existing circuit already in the loft, sub contracted a job out and it took him a day and a half!!

yea tbh i think i could of, apparenlty a member of elecsa but i cant find company on there, it was a chinese bloke think he was on the phone getting someone to talk him through it, i'm all for giving people a go but if ya cant do the job dont try

Depending what work is needed...If it needs routing etc into place and connecting up id say about an hour to two hours max

wires just wanted running up and along perlings to where they were needed

Shouldn't be too hard a job then,just make sure you dont mess up the original wiring circuit mate....

Depends on how the sockets were fixed/mounted, how was the cable routed, how tidy was the work, how close the sockets were etc.

Was it certified i.e. circuits tested etc. If so then half day IMO is about fair.

sockets screwed to perlins and about 8 metres of wiring all in, tbf is a tidy job but just annoyed it took so long as i coulnt get on with putting floor down etc

bit of a joke that! i'd say 1 hour to run the cables and 30 mins to connect it up.
