I used to work in a call centre for Marks and Spensers.

Had a fone call on xmas day with some guy asking me if his Turkey he bought had nuts in as his daughter had a nut allergy. I advised that I am not 100% sure but he should not take the risk.

He replied with

"I will just give her a small spoonful, see how she gets on"

Another time some woman was giving me abuse and I was dying for a shit so I told her I had to answer another call which was nature and hung up on her.

Got pulled up by management and I said to them I do not get paid to sit here and get abuse.

I work for the NHS, FFS everybody that rings up has a arguement waiting.

I just generally blame the consultants/secretaries for why their appointment has been changed from next week to 9 months time.

People that get to me is some people who just don't bother turning up for their appointments or ringing, then ring up complaining about their new appointment is 4 months away. Jokers.

I don't work with customers thankfully but have had my fair share of bust ups with other railway employess, especially contractors as they just don't give a shit and get paid lots more than me for the privilege.

Pmsl at some of these though, had me giggling away

i cant say i've 'lost it' with a customer.
have had an arguement which got me into slight trouble with my boss.
stupid chavy mum wanted to get her kid a bike that was waaay too big for him.
kid could barely reach the pedals let alone the floor.
so i just said no. told her why im not selling it too her and pretty much walked off after her givin me 'you cant tell me what i can and can not buy'
to which i said i can refuse to sell any item to any customer.
good times

The amount of moaning customers we get is unreal where i work (sports direct) Saturdays are the best if you want a good row with someone

I've argued with customers quite a lot, you have to sometimes just to get it through their thick sculls. I've never really lost it with someone properly though, takes quite a lot for me to get to breaking point. If I feel like I'm going to say something I'd regret after I usually slam the phone down if its a call or walk off the till if Im serving. if somone speaks to me like shit I get awkward and start acting dumb to piss them off even more

some bloke having a whinge at me the other day, turned up as doors closing on a train because he had been too busy buying himself a coffee in the buffet, thus this was my fault (naturally) after whinging for a bit, came up with "do you know what I do for a living" felt like saying, "no and to be perfectly honest I couldn't give a f**k"
