Going to look at one tommorow and is there anything particular that i should look out for apart from the obvious?

Any prone rusting areas or any bad mechanical parts?

Any help would be great.

cheers

posted some pics of my mates e30 2.5 sport we went to pick up..

he paid 4k for his, dolphin grey, low on th monos..

just look for genuine rust etc on arches, and check in the boot corners (theres gaps each corner, lower then the original boot level) and they rot quite bad, which i know well about as my old 318 rotted there..

i've got an E30 touring 325. Look everywhere, and i mean everywhere for rust. jacking points, scuttle, inner and outer arches, ploor pans,in the boot. the 1.8 is an m40 engine if i rember rightly. Good old motors that go on forever but they can sound a bit nocky because the oil spray bars get blockes so you end up woth a fooked cam. check for warn bushes and clocking diffs aswell
