Hey "a.est1990", Ive actually done this one. I got this stuff that the guy called hoodlining fabric (dont ask me what it could actually be called). Its used as an alternative to vinyl because of how light it is. Whereas vinyl is heavy and will most likely sag

Next i used "Kwikgrip Gel" and scraped it over the entire surface of the existing ceiling and left to dry. Did the same on the fabric.

Next i repeated the process, but this time i started from the centre and layed the fabric on the ceiling as i went.

It may help to work in strips and let them dry so you can stretch the creases out of the fabric too.

The area around where the "A" pillar trim goes over wrinkled a bit, but i spaced it out to make a simular effect that is done with suede and leather in cars

When you have the whole ceiling covered, trim the fabric to shape leaving about 30mm overhang.

Fold and glue the overhang to the underside of the ceiling.
