Will my tv speakers cut out completely or will they run at a lower volume

TWAT just realsied i put this in the wrong section.

Havent got the surreound sound yet, but on my sony bravia, the sound option just says set to external audio equipment i think

Yes same as mine, that will disable tv speakers

werent reall sure if i plugged in tv to surround sound wether it would just work or i would have to send the sound to from the tv to the surround sound set up.

the only option i can find in the tv menu is in AV setup, then to speaker and then in there it says external audio or tele speaker, if i chose external audio the tv speaker goes off. Though AV is for the scart sockets though aint it.

I have my SkyHD connected to the surround sound by optical, sound still comes out of the TV, so I just set the TV volume to 0.
