but thats the same with every old vs new car is it not?

not trying to piss on your bonfire as i know this is funny, but a workmate bought a uk turbo impreza for £1500 (spent 500 servicing it) and it is on par with my focus st.

he always goes on about it, but then his car is a P reg, whilst mines an 08 plate, his has 100k miles, mine has 16k miles etc etc.

No offence but just because your car is newer and has less miles doesnt make it a better car
(it is in this case) but that sort of view pisses me off.

i know it would, i'm not saying it wouldn't.

i got ruined by a nova xe, was a nice one

why does everyone jump on your back on this site straight away

i never said mines a better car. i just said it's newer, so it's going to cost more isn't it (which is usually the case apart from classics/cossies etc)

with all due respect it does? when you say better in terms of age, value, features, safety etc it will generally be a better car.

I fell in love with them because for my first car a B sxi had the same style of seats that were in my dads Cav gsi 2000, gave the car that sporty feel and the fact I had been around old vauxhalls from a young age.

I loved the sport for the power it had at first, then got addicted to getting the full potential of the engine, doing it on a budget too

I've had 3 Corsa Bs now.

They're cheap, well made, decent looking as standard, and look a lot better with minimal modification.

Parts a plenty, modification parts a plenty.

I think it's my favourite hatchback of its era. I had a Fiesta and it was a pile of poo.
