Right people here the next question for you.
Ive just built my let back up using the following new parts, all the bearings were left as they wernt that old anyway.
Installed new Mahle pistons and rings
New stem seals
New hydralic lifters
And obv new head gasket, fresh oil and filter.
How long should i just potter around for before the rings etc have settled in?

few oil changes. about 500 miles without any boost is what i do.

Don't know if you should give the walls a hone first, depends.
