When are you hoping for it to be ready, you buying anything else for it ?
Its easy, honest
Well im not sure if I can really afford to put it through the sprints, needs to be taxed and MOT'd for my class, plus its £140 for the weekend, and its only realistly 12 laps.
Ill get it going first, and see if I change my mind Still got loads of parts to fit, GTi6 brakes etc.

Im not sure, wouldnt of thought so. 206 gti brakes will though, 266mm ones IIRC. GTI180 brakes are 283mm like gti6 brakes, but dont need grinding to fit.

Finally did some work to it
Though very little
Have narrowed the starting problem down to fuel, its sparking fine. Fuel pump is priming too, so its a problem in the injectors/ecu somewhere. Most likely my wiring though
Took the bonnet off to get into the guts of it a bit easier, looks pretty mean with the bonnet off:
Might be running by the end of the day If i can figure out whats wrong with the fueling

Still not running, as I havent done any more work engine wise, decided to push it out the garage and have a tidy up.
Also went mad with a hole saw and attacked the front bumper, by fuck its hard to stop yourself drilling the whole car
And I really need some rallye vents, the lamps really let the mean look down

Old loom was a gti loom plugged straight into the car so fuck all gauges worked, but it would run. New loom was bought from ebay.
Ive had to replace the injector loom too as the old one was bodged to fuck, I might have it plugged in wrong. Going to take the top inlet off again and take a look at everything. Should be getting fuel to the rail at least.

Still totally confused with it. Fucker wont start, has to be a wiring issue.
Need to free up some money though, so morettes are for sale. Will just be getting the car through an MOT and selling it I think, fund more power/replacement turbos for the new project if it arrives
