1997 on a P reg
D7F engine (1.2 8v)
56,000 miles when bought
No tax but with 6 months test
5 new tyres
Fairly clean throughout
No service history

£450

Already had a little argument with a 4x4 in it (cars don't like me, that's 2 crashes as a passenger this year and one as a driver) but it's still pretty sound. Gets me from A-B anyhow.

Of course all photos were taken after a good valet by myself.

I then had a toy with black centre caps on the steels to see if it looked any good.. it did not!
They're back to silver now.

Giving it a well overdue service!

Exhaust has a leak in it and need a new dogbone (gearbox) mount then everything is pretty sweet.. although gear linkage could do with replacing as they're a common fault on Clios.

Tah for looking.

Got my first claim through from one of the crashes so instantly bought myself some audio equipment:

Sony Xplod head-unit
VIBE BlackAir2 12" 1600w subwoofer
VIBE BlackBox1 600w amplifier
(CBR enclosure)
FLI 69 Integrator 6x9s
Alpine 4" dash speakers (2 way)

Also replenished my valeting supplies somewhat (don't know why the hell I put the Colour Restorer in the photo) as I now work for a bodyshop, valeting customers cars and using the unit for 'mates rates' jobs.

Car goes off the road tomorrow for work, tax & MOT and should hopefully be back for summer with a full 12 months of everything so I can get myself some no claims at last.

Here are a few photos from the last detail:

Products used:

- Karcher K3 Pressure Washer
- Autoglym Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner (2 bucket)
- Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover
- Autoglym Bumper Care
- Autoglym Car Glass Polish
- Autoglym Auto Scent
- Turtlewax ICE Liquid Clay & applicator pad
- Meguiars Carnauba Wax
- 8 Autoglym Perfect Polishing Cloths
- 2 Meguiars Wax Applicating Pads
- 13 Terry Microfibres
- 2 Peach Skin Microfibres
- Black Ice air freshener
- Lots of elbow grease

I found that the Liquid Clay left a film on my paintwork after application and rinsing off, so I gave the car another quick bucket of BSC.

Here are some before shots:

And here are the after shots:

And here's some of the audio and the damage from my argument with the 4x4:

(Also have some Alpine 4" dash speakers installed but can't really get pics of them.)

Oops.

That's about the only thing it is I'm afraid.

To pass the MOT it will need (that I'm aware of):

- Exhaust from cat-back
- Discs and pads
- Handbrake cable
- 2 sidelight bulbs
- Full service (bad oil leak from filter, might as well service it)
- Wiper stalk
- Indicator stalk

A revised sale thread will be posted soon. Want a touch screen computer so will probably sell car, the spares I have, all audio equipment and throw in a valet for about £500 or so..
