I think i'll be needing to rent a long wheelbased van soon, are there any large companies who rent out to under 21 year olds? I'm not 21 untill May.

You wont get an LWB under 25 from anywhere. It's also illegal to hire a vehicle to someone who is under 21 in the UK.

That's rather annoying. Anybody have a van I could rent in the NWNW area for two days?

I did, LWB high roof VW LT, 4 tonne thing for £150 for 4 days. I'm 23.

Look for Smiths Van Hire on google Alex, thats who I have used loads in the past but no idea if they do under 21.

Shame is a pug van though...

what yopu need the van for? Arnold clark will do hilux's if it's for a towbar.

Thrifty do under21 van hire, if someone over 21 will put their name on also.

i have to rent vans quite alot due to my work, just call around, even rent in your maw or dads name, and tell them you'll be driving it. It may be an extra 20 or so.

Ive hired a Van when i was 21. Sprinter luton van.

Had to pay more than over 21's though, its not illegal to hire a van at 21, its just most places fuss about insurance.
