Jades Mini due for its MOT soon, the exhaust is however quite badly corroded and the hangers slightly detached itself so has a bit of a wobble.

Im guessing this is going to be a fail?

Its went exactly the same as the last mini she had!! Only 4yrs old as well!!

Its got a cracked windscreen and is using coolant as well - shit car!! :doyle:

Cant you put new rubbers on? Or do you mean its detatched from the exhaust

The hangers welded on to the top of the box & splits there....well did on the last one, im guessing this is the same!

Yeah I thought so, its not totally burst off, it just isnt as secure as it should be.

Last mini this happened to I fitted a milltek cat back to then proceeded to sell it a few months later. :doyle:

4 years on a 'BMW', sounds fucking shit to me.

I'm sure getting it repaired rather than replaced would do the job though.

chloes is coming up to 5 years old now and the exhaust is still mint, only thing gone wrong is the gearbox, had a new one under warranty, must be the harsh scottish weather

My mates 06 plate Mini had a new gearbox under warranty a few months back. Shocking IMO.

This ones had a new power steering pump fitted at about 25k, now the exhausts fucked. Cant comment on the gearbox, I try not to drive it.

Trying to get her to change car now but the only thing she likes is a TT convertible & there too much. :doyle:
