hi i have a corsa sport 1600 and was wandering what would be the closest ratio standard gearbox to go for (on a tight buget)? and which car would it be out of? would one off a corsa 1.2 8v fit? or is that a differnt fitment? just asking as i have one of those lying around my dads. how about the final drive? one off a tigra or a deisel corsa be any beter? thanks for any help

when i put my 1.6 engine in , i put the 1.2 8v gearbox in and went straight in mate. is the speedo electric or cable driven????

ohh right. il have to check when im up my dads next. the 1.2 8v is an R reg and my sport is V if anyone on here knows if they would be the same? did u find the ratios any closer than the other box? thanks
