I worry a lot but thats only when I drive it lol
I can only see about 150miles out of a tank when I drive and the wife can get near 280.

Tbf though, 150 miles isn't much out of any tank. If anyone else were to say what Deano did it would go unnoticed.

Nope, not at all, I dont do many miles & could easilly live without a car I was bothered about it.
My ///M's pretty good with 23 round town & 32 on a run anyway I thought, not as bad as some.
Also high oil prices keep me in work so I couldnt care less

Same as you, maybe I should just buy an Evo
I did manage 180 miles with quarter of a tank left, and I was really impressed. So boring though so my 50 miles to half a tank tonight cheered me up.

According to the Instant Consumption on dad's M3 it did better at 80mph than 70mph.
And guys, I only worry about fuel consumption because I wouldn't be able to afford £50 to 150 miles, fun or not. When you're on a budget and cars aren't your hobby, fuel consumption does matter.
If you're not on a budget then yeah, you enjoy the finer things in life, including nice cars.

31 isn't half bad from a V6. I hovered around the 20 mark when I borrowed my uncles V6 jag for a week in the summer...

just worked mine out to be 28mpg
that is a lot lower than i expected and that is using optimistic figures!
doesnt bother me though. i get close to 300miles a tank, and dont feel like i am going to the petrol station as often as i see the gf so dont notice it to a point of concern!
i know it will be dropping dramatically in the coming months, with the top down (93/K reg MX5 1.6) i will be hitting the loud pedal just to hear the exhuast!!
never worked out what the Nova gets well not recently, i used to get 300miles in that when i passed my test as it was my only car used to cost less than £30!
