right i know this might be a stupid question but, do you yrs no claims bouns only start when you have a full licence? or if your were insured when on a provisional do they carry on to a full licence?

hope that makes sence

No. It only starts when ur the named driver with a full license

Bit confused.... a named driver on someones policy (say your dad) will not earn you NCB's

You have to be with the same insurance company for a whole year, without a claim being the main driver on the policy.

Yes, i meant the insurance has to be in ur name.
