once a car has been properly bent it will never drive the same again

I have repaired a write off before due to being attached to the car , but
really regretted it in the end

currently salvage value is calculated as 20% of the pre accident value. this can usually be negotiated

it'll fix i think but i'm not a trained eye looks to me like 2 new headlights, bonnet,bumper,reinforcing bar ,and the slam panel but the bonus is i got a 07 1.9cdti vectra hire car

i'll get some pics up later in the week. the twat in his people carrier rolled 100 yards down the hill and into my parked car an said his key come out so why the fuck didnt he brake some wank drivers on the road now days

Paid 50 quid to get my v reg sxi back. Was a cat c write off.

They paid out 2200 for the car, this was 3 years ago though.

Depends on age/pre acident condition etc. But what ever they offer you for it, decline first offer, find similar ones on the net with high prices and argue what its worth. Some even let you keep the car for free, some is like people say, £50/£100 etc.
