My gf has just ordered a brand new car which will obviously come with a 2010 number plate. On her current car she has a personalised number plate which she wants on the new one, but the new car has to be registered on a '10 plate first. Basically, I was just wondering what she needed to do to put her personal plate on retention and what costs/fees are involved.
The ideal order of things would be.....
Remove personal plate from current car and put it on retention
Put old (non-personalised) plate onto old car
Collect new car with 2010 reg plate
Put personalised plate on new car
Any help would be great!
