i got a car on tuesday but it hasnt come with the log book i have done a check it all ok all the numbers match up but want i wanted to no was if i went to my local dvla office would they be able to do me the new log book there and then?

you can apply for a logbook using a form online (v62 maybe?), just type it into google. will cost you 25 quid i think if you dont have the new keepers slip.

ive got the form all filled in here but was just woundering if i went in there they would do it for me i no they changed my log book when i had my vic check done but wasnt sure if they would do it has im the new own

The log book should have been sent off by the previous owner and you should have been given the new keeper slip?

New logbook will take more than 2 days to come back if the previous keeper has sent it.

Or was there not one in the first place ?

ahhh gotcha now. you'd have to send teh form off and you should get new one in a few weeks.

got letter this morning your log book should be processed by 26/3 and be with you 5 working days after fucking piss take i've learnt my lesson here lol
