Can anyone give me any advice in using some JQuery effects. Im pretty confused about what im doing and I cant find any decent tutorials on the internet. I basically want to use a slide effect which works on areas of a webpage when they are opened. Thanks

Plenty of info on Jhttp://Query.com, just look under documentation and on the tutorials. There's also http://jqueryui.com/ which shows dialog boxes, sliders etc.
