The map doesn't make the display over read more than normal? If so that's the first time I've ever heard of that on any car.

john - its all how the its set up

it is slightly out yes,

if its something like a tuning box, it makes it read majorly wrong

but its to do with injector pwm and how its adjusted in the map, i dont fully understand it all yet

better ture pictures coming - red like it actualy looks! my phones crap

how so? it still takes readings from the same items it did before?

Thats what I was thining? If it over read before (like most mpg readings) it will be the same after the map as its taking info from the same place as before.

Where does the board computer take the reading from, I'm not sure?

Any car I've had mapped/box on it's over read, I'm sure the computer doesn't measure exact quantities at the injectors so it must measure it before the map changes the output.

boxed will 100% over read, due to it tricks the ecu

a remap is different

no idea tbh. cav turbo i had on phase 3 seemed to read about right. i dont know about newer stuff hence asking.

in general, the reading will be correct as you are telling the ecu to injector more fuel -

not like a box where its tricking the ecu into putting more fuel in
