I've driven both the petrol and the diesel while on a 3 week driving course at work. It’s a nice car, handles well at very fast speeds both in the bends and on dual carriageways. I'd have one.

Nice cars, decent performance, though nothing much on a Vectra SRi CDTi 150 once the overboost function runs out, although the Mondeo actually goes around corners well.

Looked at the Octavia vRS TDi's atall? Quicker in Standard Form and just as capable through the corners as the ST...

problem with the 2.2 st is that it will kill a clutch very quickly and then its a 8h job to change it. Plus dual mass flywheels muck up on them alot

think you can remap them to 200bhp or so.

quick cars and a great motorway cruiser.

i'd go for the petrol for the noise but the diesels fine if needs must.
