My Mrs was in a car accident at the tail end of last year, where the car rolled etc and left both driver and passenger with minor injuries. She was the front seat passenger, but came off worst and still has very sore back pain constantly. At the time of the accident, she was signed off work and also on medication for two weeks due to the pain.
She has been to the doctor and been referred for physio.
Would there be enough evidence here for a claim?
If so, what would she need to do as it is really becoming a pain in the ass (no pun intended:lol
Cheers folks!

yes, speak to your insurance company, you essentially have an audit trail with the doctors and maybe police if you reported it?

The accident was reported and police and ambulances were also at the scene.
Would she need to pay up front or what?
I have absolutely no idea how this works

the drivers insurance company would sort out the injury claims for every person in the car who had an injury.
no need to run around after solicitors.

The driver has phoned her insurance regarding this and now my Mrs is to call them to see about a claim.
Any advice on how this works?
Im guessing the insurance company will offer her a sum? Is it best to decline the first offer in the hope of a larger offer?

I'm currently in the process of getting compensation for whiplash. I was crashed into from behind by 2-3 cars. I'm in a trade union and was advised what was best to do. They gave my details etc to a solicitors and they're dealing with it now. Long process tho due to 3 other cars being involved.

I was also in an accident witch involved 3 cars.
The claim should be maid to your partners friends Insurance policy... they should have rung your partner to see if she incurred any injuries...
what happened in my case was
Crash took place
I spoke to police and gave my contact details
they called me and passed on relevant details to the insurance company
the insurance company deal with the whole claim
ie. your partner needs to call the insurance company of the driver, even if it has been a while, she has the best forms of proof.

I was in a crash (11/3/09) where by some old guy pulled out right in front of me from a side road, while I was on the main road leaving me about 1 second to react needless to say I went into him.
Over a year later I have not received a single penny, not even the £2.5k in lost wages due to my lower back injury which still hurts till today.
These things take forever to get sorted
