snaped my drive shaft on corsa tuesday night got a new shaft wednesday put a new snap ring on the shaft and as I go on full lock the drive shaft comes out tryed it 6 times now and still comes out help please ???????

1.0 the rive shaft is the same size and same splines

when i was changing the cv boots (passenger side) my shaft just pulled out no problem and the little clip on the end had split. i just chucked it and put the shaft back in. havent had any problems. mine is also the 1.0L.

i dont think im referring to the split ring actually. this was something that was really thin and sat on the very end of the shaft where the bearing things are? it wasnt a ring though as it had curved parts.

the snap ring is on the end ov your drive shaft the part that go's in to the gear box and fixxed it now the scrapy told me the shaft was off a 1.0 but it as off a 1.2 8v shorter shaft
