Checked my account today... nearly £900 is pending to go out ...
I thought wtf is that for!
My rent went out a couple of days ago £700 and I insured my car at the start of this week for £570... they're the only big payments I believed to be awaiting processing.
Suddenly it's clicked in my head... ! All my mail gets delivered to my parents house and when I was theres recently, I saw a letter from admiral that was offering me a quote of £870ish (jog on I thought) - I chucked the letter on the fire.
I'm almost 100% certain that - if I read the small print on that letter it would say 'Don't worry, we've got this quote for you and if you want to keep it, just do nothing and we'll take the money! ... If you want to cancel call us on .... bla bla bla'.
So I reckon these pricks have taken out this policy and charged me the money for that insurance!
... What's worse is that, the insurer on both policies (the one I took out and the one in the letter) are the same insurer!
Thus, I have 2 policies from the same insurer on the same car (different address, different mileage limit) for a total of £1400 ... :doyle: :doyle: :doyle:
So pissed off... need to try to get my money back now, but i bet they'll not give me the full amount.

They always renew unless you cancel, it's a renewal letter they send through, not a quote.

you might get charged like £30 admin fee. As john says its a renewal notice, it says on them if they dont hear from you they will take the premium again from the same card as before.
