once we've moved into our house and got it all sorted i'm going to need to change car as the puma is just too small for us really.
also, need a 4 door for the airport runs when my girlfriends parents visit us.
are these the same engines as the mk4 golf gti? any good?
quite like the look of this one:

don't want something fast, but would like something that is quick enough, spacious and comfortable and not boy-racery.

Own house, looking at 4 door saloons, you could be looking at these mate
It's estate too so it's future proofed for the kids and dog(s)

was thinking about an a4 avant but theres already 2 1.9 tdi avants in work so would rather have the saloon
just been looking on remaps for these engines, seems about 220bhp is a good figure for these which is plenty for me.
the puma is way too small for me, not enough low down power and is far too loud for my liking.
i'm getting old

I dont think the Avant says old Ben, personally I prefer the styling & they are handy as you wouldnt care to believe.

I prefer the estate by far, but I wouldn't own one unless I really needed the space.
Why not get a 5 door Golf Ben? My Golf is actually more spacious inside than my mates Saab 93 saloon. Problem with the saloon is that for a big boot the back seats get shoved forward meaning you still loose out on legroom.

i prefer the look of a saloon over a hatchback really.
just don't need an estate and it's extra weight to carry everywhere really

Avant all the way!
Facelift looks 10x better, would say your better off paying that little bit more.
