It isn't.

"It's" cannot be used for "it has" Normally you would use "it has".

That makes no sense Dave It's is short for it is or it has. It isnt is short for it is not so you cant have its isnt, it would be it is not Sorry to be a killjoy

If you used it's instead of it has it makes sense in context such as "it has got" shortened to "it's got". The same as It isnt is short for it is not or it's not but then it would still be short for it is.

Yes in that case it's is short for it has. It is got 50bhp makes no sense whereas it has got 50bhp makes sense.

I do some NVQ stuff through work and have to do key skills with it too. In the key skills she said about the whole "Its" "It's" thing and when i got back in work someone asked what have we been doing and i sarcastically said about learning how to use it's, but i couldn't remember the example we we're given to explain. /boring story
