I can alwasy remember going on a school trip and someone found a dead badger (yes, a badger, the swear filter didn't change that!) and it looked like it was asleep as it was gently moving. It was absolutely filled with maggots.

Someone kicked it down this massive embankment and it sodded off, with maggots flying out left right and centre. Like a catherine wheel, but made of dead rotting badger and maggots.

Same happened to me but with a hedgehog, safe to say i dont like them now
