Hey all,

I'm just looking to shed a bit of fat. Put on a stone ish over the last 4 months or so... need to lose a bit of fat, but don't want to lose any muscle (is this even possible?).

What's the best diet to do this with? I know using something like atkins with exercise I could shred the fat off in a month or so, but I always find when i do that i lose all muscle too (since your body ends up starving itself).

What do people recommend for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner... To achieve what i want?

its actually not very easy to do, you will have to eat a high protein diet but with not alot of fat/carbs.

Look up carb cycling, although you'll still need a decent workout to maintain the muscle.

Or just do p90x properly!

I found when I did p90x, I wasn't losing too much 'weight' / 'fat' as I was eating a lot to maintain muscle gain.

If you eat clean, and train hard, your going to gain weight, but loose fat in the process. Best way to loose the weight imo, is to train and eat a small calorie defict diet

Train hard and eat sensibly. There isn't a shortcut.

Surely high reps at the gym on a lower weight would maintain the mscle and mix in with a 10 min run and 10 min cycle plus healthy diet?
