putting a 2 litre 8 valve in my mates corsa during the week and was looking for a bit of info. I am a mechanic and we have all the correct mounts etc so fitting the engine wont be a problem its just the wiring that confuses me with me working on trucks . Is this a hard job as i have heard i use part of the standard loom and part 8 valve loom.I have a 2litre 8valve in mins but not wanting to start ripping mine apart. Any info would help cheers

im sure you just have to join a couple of wires down at the ecu ... if u take the ecu cover off on your car and see what wires have been joined from the engine loom to the car loom , everything should be colour for colour

isnt there a few of every colour ? there isnt much wires involved was just wantin to know for defo so we could get cracked on with it. cheers

like i saay just look at your own ecu and you will see whats needing wired its only 4 or 5 wires need joined al colour for colour . there wont be 2 colours the same
