Cheap mods will never, ever give you big power.

You have a xe, on the books its 150bhp, it will be old, tired & have lots of miles, it wont have 150bhp.

Best thing you can do is a full service, decent filter, decent manifold & system.

throttle bodies can be an arse to setup, cold start problems etc, not the best for an everyday car imho.

What problems did you have with a throttle bodied engine seth? Once set up they are fine. Its carbs that are a pain i thought? And a throttle body set up probably cost you best part of 2k mapped.

Get me to build it and il spec it lol.

Nowt wrong with carbs. Depends how there set up. Mates used to be 2 pumps of throttle and away it went. Anotha mate has bike carbs, hold choke out for 10seconds and again off u go. Bettley if def serious bout a decent xe and not just an idea. Pop down. Work somethng out

Very rarely eg twin 40's have chokes so they can be an arse on a very cold day and a lot of inlet back firing is nice too.
