One more from my manic long weekend for you:

Stage 2 Dodo Enhance & Protect detail, full interior and unusually for me as I was asked to do it, engine bay tidy up too.

No befores. Usual sort of routine and products from me really:

Prerinse: VP Snowfoam combo
Wheels: Nielsens Non Acidic Ali cleaner & VP Blue Gel in places
Tyres & Arches: AS G101
Wash: Dodo BTBM, RD Washmitt, TBM & Gritguards
Dry: Dodo Time to Dry & RD Miracle Driers
De-tar: AS Tardis
Clay: BH Soft, AS Reglaze for lube
Polish: Should have been Lime Prime but due to paint I used 3M FCP, EF & UF instead!
Wax: Dodo Rainforest Rub
Sealant / QD: Dodo Red Mist Tropical
Tyres: VP Pro Dressing
Arches: AS Rubber Dressing
Glass: Nielsens Blue Window
Doorshuts: AS Tango
Exhausts: Wire Wool & Britemax Twins
Leather: AS Leather cleaner, leather brush
Plastics: AS Multifresh
Matts: AS Brisk foam
Engine bay: AS Hazsafe, AS Finish, AS Tango

Despite the client owning the car from new it was a patchwork of paint that he wasn't aware of .

Rear end had been painted, as had passenger side. Lime Prime just wasn't cutting it so I ended up using a blob of FCP & a blob of EF on a 3M yellow pad for a bit of cut, then refining it with UF. Still far from perfect, but the new paint was rock solid - more so than the factory BMW paint which is hard enough. It also gets put through a car wash reasonably regularly

Buffer trails & swirls:

Attempt at 50/50:

(Far side after FCP / EF mix)

No further pics as I was flat out to get it done, interior was a right mess, each panel was taking a few passes to get any form of result, and sun was playing havoc lol.

Few finished pics:

And what I believe is an obligatory shot:

No direct light after shots as sun was rapidly going down as you can see.

Cheers for looking. Comments, constructive criticism and questions welcome as per usual :thumb:

I've not seen that colour before, not sure if I like that. Can't believe people put these expensive cars through car washes...

Results look good though Rich.

No I hadn't either mate - it is a standard colour though apparently. Begun with B, but can't remember the name!

He apparently doesn't get time to wash it himself very often as he's on the road a lot (it's covered 45k in just under 2 years) and where I was working was borrowed - where he usually parks isn't exactly ideal for cleaning cars.

I can see why people do it, just wish they didn't!
