Just an early warning for those of use that haven't seen it yet.

Are they showing them all on Sky3???

I refuse to add to our already hefty £60 per month Sky/ESPN package in order to get Sky movies!

Hmm. Not as impressive as BoB somehow, you seemed to develop an instant feel for the characters in that, but not The Pacific. And Tom Hanks needs to shut up and let the veterans talk as before.

I've seen it countless times now, it's excellent. Best wartime drama series ever made in my opinion.

It's not too gung ho American either which is good, The Pacific is a bit too much on the flag-waving patriotic side for me.

Gonna have to wait till the end of the pacific though, otherwise it might get a bit confusing, and the misses wont like watching 2 war series!

Yeah, seems like BoB was a continuation of the Saving Private Ryan style, TP is a continuation of Pearl Harbour.

Not good.

yeah, i'd say band of brothers was better so far. i seemed to give more of a fuck about the characters, seeing them from the beginning etc etc.

then theres the obvious fact it was set in the european theatre, something that interests me greatly whereas the pacific never really did for some reason.
