Got a G Max kit fitted (-40mm) yeah i know, their not exactly the best, but creakyness is quite extreme is there a reason for this ?. Also i think my exhaust manifold is knocking against the chassy, anyone experienced this i ve checked the mounts & they seem ok its only when i drive the car it happens anyone ? someone ?

(Seems to be quiter when theres more people in the back)

doubt your exhaust manifold will be knocking against the chassis, its probably the backbox knocking against the rear axle, get the clamp and turn it 90 degrees and put abit of foam & gaffer tape it to the axle below the exhaust pipe

as for th creakyness, just spray wd-40 in and arounf the top mounts on the front & rear.

if your springs are creaking they then need turned, as they are not seated properly.

conicidently, buying a 40mm kit for your GSI will only lower it 25mm, as your suspension is 15mm lower than std, and spring kit lowering heights are guaged on std corsa's

Well put it like this my i could fit a box of 10 cigarettes (around 40mm) between my arch & the top of my tyre on the rear. Now can t even get anything in there.

yes gambit is exactly rite.
i had the gmax kit 40mm and it creaked a lot but after about 1000miles it was ok, just needs bedding in, and wd40 wud help loads come to think of it.
i had a scorpion monza and the bolt that joins the backbox onto the centre piece knocked on the rear axle, it had to be turned and taped up to stop the banging.
