but then at a meet, people might say "oh look its the guy with the red wheels" and someone else might say "or could it be the other guy with red wheels"

then the guy with black wheels will drive in to the carpark, and these people will say "oh look its the guy with black wheels"

White wheels are also cool - not sure they would work well on a lighter Silver car though...

White wheels, IMO, work best with an obvious clash - ie on Red or Black cars, they also work well on White cars...
