I have just been offered a head with kent cams fitted from a 1.4 8v (which is what I have) for £65
are they worth it? buying second hand - what should I look out for?

Id be looking to see how they have managed to fit more than 1 cam in a head that can only take 1 cam.

well kent cam then
I know nothing which is why I wouldn't normally have bothered except this is a ported & polished head with the cam already in. I think I can manage to swap the head. (messing with the internals is well beyond me though)

is there any obvious visible things that I should look for to be able to tell if its good or not?

Who ported and polished it? They may have fucked it, thats why its so cheap.
