i replaced cat back on my dads rover 25 today the bolts near the cat were OK.... one snapped on back box, for another one had to drill paraller to the bolt into the nut, then broke the nut off

is it getting a new backbox Jas?

If so just snap them, they're welded to the backbox flange so will have no bearing on getting a new one on, just use new bolts.
