just need to pop down the road to have a new tyre put on, but my mate has asked me to put a steel on to make it quicker/easier for him, will i be ok, its about a 5 minute drive but dont want anything bet/piut outa place

What are the tyres sizes?

If they work out to be similar diameters then you'll be ok, if they're hugely different then it might drive a bit weird

well i ahve 195/45 on my 15's, but my beautiful steel is 195/80's lol.
Ah i see your from oxford daveskater, whast the scene like up there? i am constantly up in abingdon theses days! and have seen a few nice cars about

I've driven my car on 14's with one 13 inch steel spare before and didn't have any problems.

If in doubt put the steel on the back as your steering & breaking will still be ok
