When you abbreviate a word does the apostrophe go before or after the word? Eg - Job's a good 'un! Or, Job's a good un'!

well i'd put it before anyway.

Not a good example really as I dunno what exactly it's meant to be shortening? Job's a good une? which in theory you should put it after as that's where you take the letter off... you know what, I dunno

can go after aswell but cant remember when lol, usually it just goes where the missing letter is.

It doesn't apply in that context. 'un' is slang and isn't
missing any letters.

i've always put it where you miss out a letter.

isn't - is not
you're - you are
don't - do not
good'un - good one
it'd - it would

so in your case, it'd be the first choice.
