I've used Halfords before and Green Flag. Was less than £30 for the policy that would pick me up in the UK and take me home. That's all i required.
Green Flag are very good at the moment. I've had to use them a few times over the past couple of months to change tyres at the side of the motorway, pick up the van when it's pissing fuel all over a car park... Been out within 20 minutes the past 3 times i've called them.

Tsb? Just signed up for that. £3 pr mth for 2 mths then £8 thereafter
Cover me and the Mrs phones which we pay £15 a mth to insure anyway so it makes sence
