What is the trueth with these?
I heard many people say that the FSE ones are shit, but some others are fine...
would be used on slightly tuned engine ( cams, bigger exhaust, bigger TB and bored out maf)

the truth? they regulate the fuel pressure. not really sure what else to say.

just allows higher fuel pressure like 4bar instead of your standard 3bar

The cheap fse power boost valves do nothing. an adjustable fuel pressure regulator replaces the standard regulator to allow you to adjust the pressure at which the fuel is sent through the fuel system IF you are running a bigger/more LPH pump and sending more fuel to the engine.

or need to regulate due to injectors size change as some cases lower pressure may be needed. Warren g sang a song about regulators in the 90s
