I dont have a heat gun or anything so would hot water do to loosen the glue??

hairdryer? it will cool to quick if u use water! it needs to be hot for a long time really.

well the last time i took a hairdryer to the car it blew up....mum wasnt best pleased!

hot water works fine, did on my car anyway, and mine is an L 93 if age makes a difference

yeah just finished it with the hot water. when i bought the car it already had one of those fuel flap covers on and it was a bitch to take off, sliced my thumb in the process but looks much better now

i pulled mine off using a bit of wire and it worked which was a shock for me coz nothing usaually does.
