Yes, much better than the current place which is crippling me at the moment! I just hope the HomeBuy still exists when I get the ol' deposit saved up

Not bad at all IMO - it was up for £575 but he agreed straight away at £550; for all the rent haters. To buy a place like this you'd need a £30k deposit and the mortgage would be in excess of £650 a month....

Is it a 300k flat?
If it's 150k you'd need a 15k deposit now.

Yep, moving out of them now as they aren't so nice anymore.
Also, found a 10% deposit mortgage. Over £1k a month repayments, ouch.

Whats changed about them? Is it rented or mortagaged the flats you in now?
1K repayments, how much is the flat worth you applying for?

That was in reply to John.
The other people living here are a bit pikey, there is a lot of graffiti and noise. I think it's because the management company went bust and the place was just left for a while. A new company has come in but they don't seem to be doing much. There are too many students here now too so they place gets treated like halls, i.e. it gets fucked on a Friday and Saturday night. It's not great finding puddles of sick in the lift in the morning...
